What medical record review costs per page

On Pay As You Go, the cost of a file is simply its page count times $0.10. There is no setup fee, no per-file minimum, and no subscription until you decide you want one.

File size Pay As You Go On Unlimited ($250/mo)
150-page file$15Included
600-page file$60Included

The break-even is 2,500 pages a month. If you review more than four or five average files a month, Unlimited saves money and removes the page math entirely. To compare against what you pay today in reviewer hours or outsourced summaries, use the ROI calculator.

Pricing questions

How much does OctopusLM cost?

$0.10 per page on Pay As You Go with no contract or minimum, $250 per month for Unlimited (one professional, fair usage applies), or a custom Insurance & Legal plan for teams with multi-user accounts, case sharing, causation analysis, and volume rates.

What does a page count as?

One page of the PDF you upload. A 600-page medical file costs $60 on Pay As You Go. Duplicate pages are still pages in the file you uploaded, so removing obvious duplicates before upload saves money.

When does Unlimited pay off versus per page?

At 2,500 pages a month. Above that, $250 per month unlimited is cheaper than $0.10 per page. Most professionals reviewing more than four or five average files a month are better off on Unlimited.

Is there a free trial?

Pay As You Go is the trial. Sign up, upload a real file, and pay only for the pages processed. There is no contract and no minimum, so a small file costs a few dollars.

How is the Insurance & Legal plan priced?

Per team, based on user count and expected file volume. It adds multi-user accounts, case sharing, Bradford Hill causation analysis, claims intelligence and risk scoring, deposition prep, and volume rates. Book a 15-minute demo and we will scope it.

How does this compare to outsourced medical record review cost?

Outsourced nurse-written chronologies are typically quoted per page or per hour and delivered in days. OctopusLM is $0.10 per page delivered in minutes, with every line cited to its source page so your own reviewer verifies rather than re-reads. Use the ROI calculator to compare against your current cost.
